What I've been doing with my time

Sorry for the lack of updates. I've been a busy busy man. That is not to say I haven't been drawing comics, or that I haven't been working on GIC, but more that the other projects have been swallowing up much of my former GIC time.

Anyways, in my spare moments, I've been toying the idea of doing a redesign of Guys In Color. Towards this end, I have a few pics to share with you.
Image One, drawn with vector graphics (it's larger than the comics would be to show how nice vector art handles scaling):

Image Two, drawn isometrically:

In either case, my idea is to strive for a more "professional" feel to the comic, by actually doing things like zooming in and out and other things like that.

I'm still arguing with myself about which one I should adopt (if either), so any comments anyone has would help tremendously. :D

Like one of the two above? Shout it Out!

Well the vector drawn one, scaled down, is very similar to what you're doing at the moment, but I don't think that hands add to it. Maybe hands can just spontaneously appear when needed =P

The isometric one is tres swanky.

I like the vector, but I'd leave the sharp corners out of the rectangles making up the body/legs/whatever... the rounded edges of the originals are nice...

Both have their appeal. Useful, huh? :-)

I like what you've been doing, so don't see a strong need to change. But, if pressed, I think I prefer the smooth lines of the vector.
